In a statement on 7 October, BSCA said all scheduled departures and arrivals at Charleroi would go ahead on Friday 9 and Monday 12 October, days of union action. Brussels Airport had a different day, with about a hundred flights cut on the 9th because of a strike at a ground handler.
Charleroi Airport still asked travellers to leave extra time to reach the terminal, as journeys could be disrupted on those days.
A point for the next day of action: read the airport's statement, then check your transport. A flight that goes ahead does not mean your bus will run.
